New NYC location promotes community, collaboration, belonging and flexibility for employees

Cedar, an enterprise healthcare engagement platform that improves the end-to-end consumer financial journey, announced it is moving headquarters to the iconic 32 Avenue of the Americas building in New York City, following significant growth in 2021. As part of its new, hybrid workstyle model designed to the utmost flexibility, Cedar plans to welcome employees returning to the office—whether full-time, split between home and office, or periodically visiting—in a new space curated to promote community and connection.

“We think it’s important to provide employees with the flexibility and resources to work in a way that best accommodates them. For our employees returning to the office in some capacity, that means offering a space that is productive, supportive, safe and fun,” said Liz Ratto, Chief People Officer at Cedar. “At Cedar, we care about empowering our employees to bring their full selves to work, whether that’s remotely or in-person, because it helps us to better grow and work together.”

Flooded with natural light, the new office is designed to offer something for everyone with more than 66,000 square feet for team-building and collaboration, as well as private working areas. State-of-the-art technology will be used throughout the entire office space to unlock productivity, no matter how or where Cedar team members work. Employee-first amenities include, but are not limited to, health and wellness rooms, meditation space and a game area. Cedar will continue to provide daily lunch so employees can enjoy that time together to foster community building and connection, in addition to other healthy snacks and beverages.

“We are thrilled to be moving our New York City headquarters to 32 Avenue of the Americas with Rudin,” said Florian Otto, CEO and co-founder of Cedar. “In addition to expanding our footprint last year to San Francisco and Salt Lake City after our acquisition of OODA Health, this move is reflective of our strategic growth and commitment to investing in our current workforce. I look forward to using the space to connect with colleagues and accelerate product innovation.”

“We are pleased to welcome Cedar to the building this spring,” said Michael Rudin, Executive Vice President of Rudin Management Company. “32 Avenue of the Americas continues to appeal to innovative companies that are choosing New York to grow their footprint and provide their employees with a best-in-class office experience. We believe it speaks volumes in terms of the asset’s quality, our reputation as long-term owners committed to our tenant’s needs and the enduring viability of our city and its strong business community.”
