How to prepare

We want you to feel confident going into each conversation. These guides can help you understand what we look for and how to prepare in a way that feels authentic to you.

Using AI in Your Hiring Process

We use AI every day to help patients navigate their medical bills with clarity and confidence. Just like we build technology to advocate for patients, we want to empower candidates to advocate for themselves.

That’s why we encourage thoughtful use of AI during your hiring journey. Use it to clarify your story, practice for interviews, and prepare confidently. But when it comes to assessments and interviews, we want to hear directly from you.

Stage
Our Guidance
Example Prompt

Resume, Cover Letter, Application Questions

✅ Use AI to refine and organize. Start with your real experience.

“Review my resume and this job description. What should I highlight in my cover letter?”

Interview Preparation

✅ Use AI to study, reflect, and rehearse answers.

“Help me prepare for a product management interview using STAR. Give me 5 practice questions.”

Take-Home Assessments or Projects

❌ Do not use AI unless explicitly permitted.

Not allowed: “Write a data analysis summary based on this prompt.”

Live Interviews

❌ Do not use AI in real time. We want to hear from you directly.

Not allowed: “Answer this question about stakeholder alignment during my live interview.”

Use AI to prepare and present your story, but let your ideas, your thinking, and your experience come through in the process.

AI does not make hiring decisions. Your personal information is not used to train AI models.

It’s a great place to ground yourself, take some chances, and get to the next level in your career. There are no wrong answers. Ryan Stinson

'"Above all else, be yourself. Be curious. Be willing to learn."

Taylor Rochester

Sr. Accountant

"Ask about things that aren’t in your domain. If you’re an engineer, ask about the product, business, and finance sides. If you’re a designer, ask about the tech stack. If you want to be a 10X individual, you need to be able to work laterally."
