This privacy notice applies only to California residents. It describes how Cedar Cares, Inc. (“Cedar”) collects, uses and shares Personal Information of California residents in connection with their use of the Cedar website and Platform.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that is exempt from the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), such as, protected health information subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). This notice is intended to supplement, and should be read in conjunction with, our Privacy Policy.

Retention

We will store Personal Information for at least the period reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

California residents may have the following rights, subject to legal exceptions:

Verification: We may need to request additional information about you to locate you in our records or verify your identity, in which case we will contact you and only use such additional information for the purpose of locating you in our records or verifying your identity.

Authorized Agents: You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require the authorized agent to demonstrate authority to act on your behalf, such as by providing signed permission. We may also verify the authenticity of the request directly with you.

Timing: We will respond to all requests within 45 days, unless we need more time, in which case we will notify you and may take up to 90 days to respond to your request.

If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

Cedar reserves the right to modify this notice at any time in our sole discretion as described in our Privacy Policy.
