This recognition comes off the heels of Cedar’s Series D Funding announcement, signaling further growth and career opportunities
Cedar, a leading patient engagement and financial technology platform, has been recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Startup Employers 2021. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Cedar is ranked 68 out of the 500 companies recognized, and in the top 5 healthcare companies.
“We are ecstatic to be recognized by a prestigious organization like Forbes,” said Florian Otto, CEO and co-founder of Cedar. “Our people are invaluable to our success, and knowing that our employee satisfaction coupled with the company’s demonstrated growth have led us to emerge as one of the best startup employers is unbelievably rewarding. There is so much in store Cedar – especially in light of our recent funding rounds – and we are excited to continue growing our team as we work toward our mission to transform healthcare.”
More than 10,000 startups from across the country were considered for the 2021 honor, and were evaluated based on three key factors: employee satisfaction, employer reputation and company growth. The final list recognizes the top 500 companies based on an analysis of over 7 million data points.
Earlier this week, Cedar announced the close of its $200M Series D financing round, valuing the company at $3.2B. This capital positions Cedar to further extend its footprint and continue innovating to meet shifting needs in healthcare. Cedar plans to continue building out additional patient engagement use cases with the ultimate goal of delivering better experiences and outcomes for both patients and providers. Cedar expects to grow its team significantly over the next year to meet skyrocketing demand for its product, and will be hiring for roles across the organization.
