Requisitioning and Buying

The eProcurement requisitioning screens have been designed to fully support the devolved user utilising the 'shopping basket' style approach to requisitioning. Users can order required goods and services from local stores, direct with third party suppliers via comprehensive catalogue management functionality or via links to marketplaces or individual supplier portals.

Organisations also have the ability to fully streamline and automate the requisition and order process to allow an order to be automatically generated and sent to the supplier after a requisition has been raised and approved, therefore reducing the transaction processes within the central procurement team.

Full workflow

Extensive authorisation and routing capabilities are provided as standard to assist organisations in fully enabling their authorisation procedures on an automated basis. Full workflow and alerts functionality is provided to notify authorisers of requisitions awaiting approval, providing full residual budget checking facilities and comprehensive auditable controls and validation checks.

Full buyer routing functionality is also provided to allow organisations to define types of commodities or services that require additional buyer authorisation or consolidation prior to the raising of the purchase order.

This process will allow organisations to facilitate full end-to-end automated procurement processing between the internal users and the supplier base, assisting organisations to dramatically reduce their transaction costs of raising a purchase order. This includes the ability to send purchase orders to the supplier via a range of options in line with their capabilities including utilising the latest on-line XML technology and automated integrated links.

Advanced reporting

COA Solutions provides advanced reporting functionality to allow procurement teams to report on such areas requisitioning and buying, helping organisations to control and monitor the performance of their suppliers, improve process flows and reduce maverick spending.
